Monica Mann

Director of Family Services

Hi, my name is Monica Mann and I am the Director of Family Services with Eli’s Village. Early in life I realized that it truly takes a village to support any family. However, that statement may seem even more relatable when a member of that family has an exceptional support need.  As I am a sister to two siblings who happen to have Down Syndrome. Our village that my brothers introduced me to, taught me that I wanted to make this world a better place. It also made me see the importance of helping to break down potential barriers for others, in order to help ensure everyone can live an exceptional life regardless of abilities.

As a result, I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Longwood University before starting my career in Developmental Services over ten years ago. I started out working in residential services before transitioning to case management in 2021. In addition, I have spent time volunteering with organizations such as summer camps for individuals with disabilities, Special Olympics, and Challenger Little League.

In my free time I enjoy cooking and spending time with my husband and our two kids. Our family loves to be outdoors, particularly around water of any sort and can often be found visiting the lake, beach, or pool.
